Maki and Cashman did not make Milwaukee's Clear Day 22 man roster but are listed as "in residence". Anyone know if this means they can play with Cyclones until needed to fill in for injured players or do they have to stay at AHL level?

Motherwell didnt make the Bridgeport roster so hopefully he will be back.

Max Lacroix was not on Hamilton's clear day roster, either (in residence).

since I don't feel like typing it again...

http://cycwords.wordpress.com/2010/03/11/ahl-clear-day-rosters-are-out/

The players in residence are basically the players that can be used in emergency situations. Basically, MVG and McKenzie are here for the stretch whereas Cashman and Lacroix won't be back until the clubs see fit, which probably won't be until the guys on the Clear Day Rosters are are all healthy and available. My guess is we see Lacroix before we see Cashman (more on that in the blog)

Bridgeport has not published their Residency list so it's hard say what's up with Brett. The article that was posted the other day seemed to indicate that the Sound Tigers were very happy with him so there is a chance he could be in Residency. Time will tell, if he's not back by Friday and he ends up in the line up for Bridgeport the it could be awhile before he's back.

My contacts with the Admirals Short Shift Blog don't seem to think there is any chance that Ryan Maki gets reassigned.

@ xclonieacx and bags,

As much as I'd like to see those two things happen, it's highly unlikely. Although sending Maki down would only be fair since MKE did steal Chris Mueller.

I figure leaving Maki off the clear day roster and putting him as in residence might be a sign for the future, we'll never know until it happens obviously. I would say if he does find his way back here it will be in the last 7-8 games of the season.

I would bet alot of many that Maki wont be back here, we are loaded beyond loaded. It will be more interesting to see who is on the playoff roster then having people sent back down.
