Posted - 01/23/2015 : 2:17:14 PM Neal's -12 has been his career M.O. historically. I guess if you don't have a place on the roster for that kind of defensive liability for the offensive upside, then it seems silly to sign him in the first place. That shouldn't have been a big secret to Matt M. |

Posted - 01/23/2015 : 07:47:54 AM I agree with Elvis in re: the All Star breaks. I found where Jim Jorgensen went to: the Coventry Blaze team in England with Chuck. To me, that wasn't a surprise to me since I didn't see him playing all that much. Could be wrong, but that's just my thought. ;-) |

Posted - 01/22/2015 : 8:06:58 PM For starters, he's been scratched for weeks and with guys being sent down from the AHL roster space had to be made. I can't argue with the move, at -12 on the year the guy was quite the liability. The surprising move to me was releasing Serratore; he had been getting regular minutes and had proven to not be a liability but I guess that's just life in the ECHL. Hopefully a few of these send downs stick around past the NHL/AHL All-Star breaks. |
