Hey now, don't jump on me! haha. I was just making a joke, I think Lee is awesome, very nice guy and he has had a very successful past for sure.

I give respect to any other goalie out there regardless of skill or level of play, and Lee and definitely better than me.

Just trying to throw a couple jokes here or there, but like I said, nothing against the guy at all, I have mad respect for him.

During high school, I played junior hockey and still hold two league records: most time spent in the penalty box; and I was the only guy to ever take off his skate and try to stab somebody.

Just remember that some of the players/coaches/staff do read this forum on occasion, and your "jokes" might be taken offensively. If you wouldn't be comfortable saying it to their faces, then I'd suggest not saying it while hiding behind your computer.

I got ya, and i'm sorry. Once again no offense at all, the dude is way better than me and I give him major props because he's a fellow goalie.

Anyway, is anyone going to head up to watch these open tryouts at all? I'd be willing to meet up with some people and chip in for a pizza.

I will be there if it's after work. Anybody know what the schedule is for those days? If so, please let us know. :-)

Oh yea, the camps and try-outs will be a good learning experience for everyone who participates and is a spectator.

I'm planning on being there off & on all weekend. I want to see Dean coaching/leading a team.

Should be fun.

I won't be able to go tonight, but I might be able to make it out for the scrims tomorrow.

The 10 am scrimmage was pretty sloppy, especially as the game wore on (lousy passing/skating). There appeared to be a few shooters (the guy with the purple helmet was decent) but very little defense and goaltending. Lee Landsdowne's team (White) won 7-4. Lee was coaching, not skating.

Apparently there will be another game at 6pm for guys they want to take another look at.

I was pleased to see about 45 guys turn out. I'm sure there is at least two guys worth trying out with the rest of the team.
