Hey Folks,
I'm a longtime troll but a new poster to Section 60. A very long story short, I'm hoping to get a new section launched at Channel 12's website this season (www.local12.com)--but I need your help. It's up to all of us rabid fans to get the word out promoting hockey in Cincinnati and there's no better time to do it given the success of the Cyclones and the struggles of those "other" teams.
Basically, I want to build a section promoting all of the great hockey happening in and around Cincinnati. With all of the interactive tools, fans like you can submit your photos and video of action in rinks across the Tri-State.
Finally there could be an online home promoting ALL the great hockey happening here in the 'Nati. And it could be hosted on one of the local TV station websites! The build is in the works and, with a little luck, could go live before the start of the Cyclones season later this month.
Needless to say I'm excited about the possibilities..both as an avid hockey fan and web developer. My question to you is--will you help to make it a success?
I'll be happy to answer any questions you might have. Please just ask away as I'll be checking this thread regularly.
