Because our COACHING STAFF has taken up for our players when it “doesn’t count” – and clearly, our coaching staff knows what they’re doing w/ teaching our boys…after all, we’re all wearing the white Kelly cup shirts, now aren’t we…and we have the same coaching staff as the 2007-2008 season. They knew what they were doing then, they know what they’re doing now. Pretty plain & simple.

How, pray tell, has your coaching staff "taken up" for your players? I'm all ears.
I'm not saying your coaching staff dosen't know what to do... (well, Webber obviously enjoys looking gift horses... errr... opportunities to advance... in the mouth, so I guess in that case he is a pretty big idiot).
Anyway, Wheeling and Johnstown both look to have rather physical teams this year. I'm pretty sure Elimra will as well. Toe pick hockey isn't going to cut it this year.
BTW - I'm on your board because I want to be. I'm pretty sure if jevers didn't want me here he'd have tossed me off by now. |

Our coaching staff has our players best interests in mind - e.g. telling them not to waste their time fighting in the preseason games - and how exactly is Chuck an idiot?! 2008 coach of the year...coached a Kelly Cup Champion team...and our coach is the idiot?! Well, if that's the definition of an idiot, sign me up then! Clearly, we have way different definitions.
Thanks - but I prefer to surround myself with classy individuals. Consider me finished with replying to any of your responses! And I can't hardly help but laugh at your comment about jevers! How little you know!

How is Coach Weber an idiot? Hmmmmmmmm, the first year he took us to the playoffs, second year we won the Kelly Cup and now we are in our third year and will see what it will bring. Doesn't really sound like an idiot to me!
Let's get real, the teams, fans and players may not like each other, but in the aspect of things, both teams are decent teams. Maybe Dayton is not as good as Cincinnati, but they are okay :)
By the way, I love Marion's Pizza!!! |

Because he didn't move up, (according to your fans) he had offers in higher leagues and didn't grab the opportunity. That was the point in that conversation.

1. Thanks for letting me know you can't hang, duily noted.
2. jevers lets Dayton fans on his board (just as SP, Mattyg and I allow Cinci fans on our board, 218blacksheep.com) if he didn't want Dayton fans on his board he is well within his rights to do something about that. I never insinuated that he likes me or is my "buddy" or anything like that. (As a matter a fact he probably dosen't like me, but that's par for the course for quite a few of your fans.) As it is with about 95% of the Cincinnati fans, I don't know him all that well so I really don't have an opinion on him. Probably a decent person, but I'm not here to do personality assessments. |

Instead of all this talk flying - why doesn't EVERYONE - me included - keep our mouths SHUT and let our players decide who proves themselves worthy & who doesn't at Saturday's game - a game that actually COUNTS!! You can hardly classify preseason games - does no one remember we lost both exhibition games last year & still came out as the Kelly Cup Champions?
Let the judgment begin when the SEASON begins. |

I agree with this guy.... probably the only thing I will ever see eye to eye with this one... no use getting hurt and losing your spot on the roster with no chance of getting it back.
