What do you guys think of CBJ so far after 3 games?? Defense is still lacking but offense is doing good.. need to see more but overall should be better than last year

I don't think they'll end up being a whole lot better than they were last year, and I unfortunately think they'll remain the only team to not reach the post-season. They have done things I've liked, like getting rid of Foote and finally making Nash the captain, but they just don't have the depth. Guys who are contributing big right now like Brassard I'm afraid will go on streaks where they can't find the net. That being said, Peca being suspended has sucked, and they'll at least have Modin for (hopefully) a feel season. The main key will be if Leclaire can finally stay healthy, which has proved to be very difficult to happen.
My biggest concern is the lack of Defense.. Backman is really killing us.. not being able to get the puck..if we can find one or even better two defensive men that can perform great.. I will be happy and I would believe that we can make it to the playoffs.. but regardless I believe we will eventually make it this year.
