I remember hearing something about a new radio deal. I think it is 97.7....is that correct? I can't find anything on the Clones website about the radio....just webcasts.

| I am a listener of Max FM & the radio dial is 97.7. They have been promoting the Cyclones but I don't know if they will be broadcasting tonight or not. You may want to see if you can actually call the radio station to find out? Hope this helps! |

980 WONE
Bummers and Clear Channel Communications Ink Two Year Broadcast Deal October 15, 2008
Dayton, OH – The Dayton Bummers and Clear Channel Communications today announced a multi-year partnership to broadcast approximately 30 home and road Bummers games on 980AM WONE “Dayton’s Sports Station.”
“This is a great opportunity for the team to generate more local exposure,” Bummers President and owner Costa Papista said. “We greatly appreciate the support and commitment that Bob Zuroweste and Clear Channel have provided to our team.”
"We are thrilled to become broadcast partners with The Dayton Bummers on WONE Dayton's Sports Station,” Clear Channel Vice President and WONE General Manager Bob Zuroweste said. “We look forward to broadcasting a large portion of the Bummers schedule live on 980 AM, Dayton's strongest AM radio signal.”
Throughout the 2008-2009 and 2009-2010 seasons, the Bummers will broadcast approximately 30 games per year on WONE, with on-air veteran Tom Michaels calling the play-by-play. The balance of games will be available live on the B2 Network with streaming audio and video as well.
Michaels rejoins the Bummers after broadcasting the inaugural season in 1991-92 at Hara Arena. Throughout the season Michaels will be joined by former Dayton Gem Guy Trottier, who will be contributing color commentary to the broadcast.
“I’m very excited to be back in the play-by-play seat for the Dayton Bummers,” Michaels said. “The game has changed a bit, but Guy and I will make sure to bring a good show to the fans each and every night.”
All game broadcasts will begin 15 minutes prior to puck-drop with the Bummers pre-game show.
A complete list of games to be broadcast can be found below.
Also on WONE, the Bummers will have a weekly segment on Sportstalk 980 with Mark Schlemmer along with Coach Bill McDonald and various players on Thursdays from 5-6 p.m. Fans can call into the station to discuss the Bummers and ask players and coaching staff questions about the season.
Save the date! The Bummers will open their 2008-09 campaign at the Nutter Center on Saturday, October 18 at 7:30 p.m. against the rival Cincinnati Cyclones! Discounted tickets for groups of 10 or more are available by calling (937) 775-4747.
