The shots were even which is a morale victory in itself. Once again blew a 2-0 lead but luckily hung on to gain a point because they didn't do much after that ... would have definitely been nice to capitalize on all those power plays. Last weekend we looked gold in the shoot out. Tonight in the SO, the Reading goalie just seemed to be a magnet for the puck.

Lacasse really looked good last night. The second goal he gave up looked to be a fluke off a skate. The defense was a little more solid and there was some better checking players off the puck.

Lacasse did look good last night. He scared me a couple of times during the shootout because he gets set up at the last freaking second. But he was solid. And the Reading goalie was, like cyclonehole said, a magnet for the puck.

St. Denis looked pretty good out there. Pretty fast, not afraid to play the body... And it was hysterical to hear Sherry screaming, "Come on newbie, show 'em how it's done!"

The thing I noticed about Loic is that he anticipated way too much. He would get deked and then he'd go straight into his butterfly. I mean he saved all but 1, so he is obviously doing something right but he seems as if he gets a little nervous.

Also, did anyone notice the thigh rise on Reimer's pads? The guys knee has to rest at about the 34" point of the pad and you are allowed to have a total 38" bad height, and I think he used it. Looked like he added 4" to his blocking surface.

well Chuck is back to rotating so I'm going to guess that Juice is in goal tonight, so we'll see what happens. I'll keep you updated, because if Loic starts tonight, I'd say its Kyle this weekend then Loic the next series after.

Attendance for last night's game was terrible... I feel bad that I didn't make it down there but there was a family 'emergency' :(

This team can not continue to function if at the lowest attendance in the league...can they?

Well firstly, we don't have the worst attendance in the league. Phoenix, Wheeling, Trenton and Johnstown are all below us. I don't think many of those teams have played weeknight games either like we currently are, so those are weekend numbers. That's three teams just in our division below us, and if a certain team didn't juice their numbers the way they always do, they'd be right there with the pack. Our numbers will go up again Friday and Saturday, hopefully a really nice crowd for Throwback Night. Tuesday night was not going to be a good crowd regardless, but the fact that it was the day that it was had something to do with it. I did notice some regulars not even being there and I think I know why.

I made it to the game last night and will tonight and Friday (not Saturday). I didn't expect any more than we had with it being election day and a heavy voter turn out. That was only our second home game so I'm sure we'll be fine.

I was talking to my ticket rep last night and the end of the year will be a real test. We only have three home games in March and they are all week night games. Taking February into the equation, over two months we only have home weekend games 2 of those weekends. The Cyclones are playing a lot of games on the road and at home in bunches instead of spreading them out, and that is mostly due to other events scheduled for US Bank Arena.

The organization has got to do a better job or promoting their special event nights. Besides on here, I really haven't seen anything advertised for throw back night.

Greetings from Portland...

Don't read into the lack of attendance on Election Night. Out here we went to one of the most popular resturants in town (which is busy everyday of the week, esp. for happy hour) and it was dead. I imagine everyone was at home glued to the tube.

The real test will be this weekend. Hopefully 3-4 thousand will find their way to USBA. See you there...
