COMMUNITY PLAYER OF THE MONTH - MATHIEU AUBIN

The Hamilton Bulldogs and the Bulldogs Foundation have named forward Mathieu Aubin as the Community Player of the Month for October. Each month a member of the ‘Dogs will be chosen as the Hamilton Bulldogs Community Player of the Month. The award is presented by Mountaineer Movers, agent for North American Van Lines and goes to the player who demonstrates professionalism as well as generosity towards fans throughout the community during that month.
Mathieu willingly dedicated his time to visit schools and sign autographs on behalf of the Bulldogs Foundation during October. Andrew Keddie of Mountaineer Movers awarded Aubin with a $500 gift certificate for Jack Astors, Canyon Creek or Alice Fazooli’s prior to the Bulldogs game versus the Toronto Marlies on Saturday, November 8th.
Aubin, 22, has played in three games with Hamilton this season, recording one assist along with seven penalty minutes. Last season the 6-foot-3, 205-pound centre recorded six points (two goals, four assists) in 20 games with the ‘Dogs while competing in 47 games with the Cincinnati Cyclones posting 57 points (30 goals, 27 assists). Montreal’s 5th round, 130th overall selection in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft also played in all 22 post-season games with the Cyclones, earning 14 points (eight goals, six assists) en route to winning the Kelly Cup Championship. |

| Mitch is one tough dude, but Weber has turned him into a marshmallow.. Either let nim play his game or let him go to another team, then maybe he can come back here and play against the clones and then maybe we can see the real Mitch Woods. My $$ is on Woods vs. the girl name Makway.... |

Quite an honor for Mathieu Aubin!
What is the facination with Mitch Woods? He does a fair job of drawing attention to himself but gets called for way too many penalties and seems to be at best an average ECHL player. To me he is an healthier yet less talented version of Avery Wilson.

aubi hasn't played much but when he has he as apparently impressed lever enough to keep him around. during the pregame of the hamilton on saturday (11-15) lever said he had some decisions to make regarding aubin and brock trotter. i'm assuming one of them will become a regular and the other will sit or get sent down. i can't say for sure because i didn't get to hear the entire interview.
having some help from the affiliate would be great, but i'd rather it be at the blueline rather than up front.... |
