I was really hoping that we could steal one from Reading, but it was not to be.
Offense...Still decent but only seem to match the other teams intensity and output, not exceed it. A tremendous amount of shots against a pretty good goaltender. The secondary scoring was silent tonight. (Van Guilder, Rank, Cohen, Kilpatrick)
Defense... 34 shots allowed, far to many with our fragile goaltending. Sounded like we won as many battles in the corner as we lost but you really can't tell with Hammer. Makway fought over a hard hit on Latendresse, as he should and it sounded like it worked, but you can't tell on the radio.
Goaltending... a little better than last Friday but it still sounds like rebounds are a problem. 30/33 doesn't look too bad on paper.
All in all a pretty crappy roadtrip from begining to end. Lets hope the days off are used to our advantage and we can take two this weekend! |
