| As much as I hate not having Denis or Chico playing, TJ and Ian are a good addition as well as Santorelli, look forward to see if the team can keep it up. |

getting tj back is huge for the defense, especially with the loss of st. denis. the few games we had the 2 of them were some the of the better games we had played defensively in the early season. adding connie into that mix gives us 3 very solid d-men....get well soon frederic.
if mckenzie plays like he did after scoring the goal the other night then he's a great addition. if not, he's basically a traffic cone that might get in someones way. i'm hoping for the former.
santorelli has one game with us so far. he seems to have a decent nose for the puck; chuck just needs to find some linemates for him. the jury is still out, but if his junior numbers are any indication he could be a great add.
not sure if lynch is nicked up or if this is a numbers game move. chuck has been using him up front the past few games, and i like him up front better than i do at the blueline. as a d-man he wasn't the greatest, but he was far from the worst i've seen. he played within himself and rarely got in trouble. up front, is a different story, he forechecks hard and i've seen him create many a turnover. he's a big kid, they have him listed at 6'3" 220, that could be trouble for opponents if he gets in front of the net. right now we just have more skill so he gets a seat, but i think chuck could be onto something using him up front.
macdonald got called up...oh darn....maybe portland will keep him this time
makway never impressed me so whatever. the only tricky part is with perkins and st denis on IR. if tj gets called back to MIL, that puts up is a bit of a defensive bind...especially with macdonald gone (although you know what i think of him haha).
chico is what he is. i think he's been inconsistent at best this season. it makes me wonder if his heart was really into coming back. |

my guess...loic will be coming back but it won't be until after the Christmas Holiday do to the roster freeze. hamilton wants him to play, not sit there as a 3rd goalie. it does therefore raise a dilemma for chuck. in my opinion, there is no way the team can move marty. that leaves us with 2 backups. hopefully, one of the affiliates will allow one of there guys to be assigned to the IHL, CHL or possibly SPCHL, just as loic was last year when he was in the IHL.

| Let's assign Gajewski to a 'B' team at Sports Plus. |

Gajweski and Lacasse were placed here to play. As much as I don't want to see Houle sit down I have a feeling he will simply because of our affiliation agreements. If Montreal/Nashville wanted their prospects in the CHL/IHL/SPHL they would have put them there. I hope i'm wrong as I think Houle has been a positive influence on Gajewski and has made us a better hockey team.
On the other hand while Lacasse has been down/up Houle has gotten the majority of starts. While carrying 3 goalies is rare its not unheard of....maybe Houle can dress as a skater and provide the grit so many people are begging for... you already know he's not afraid to drop the gloves/blocker/mask/whatever. |

| chuck has no obligation to play the guys sent down from the affiliates. he is an employee of the cincinnati cyclones not of the affiliates. in every conversation i've had with chuck regarding this topic he has basically said that while he wants to see players improve and move up to keep the affiliates happy he also has to do everything he can to win hockey games and that means playing his best players regardless of where they came from. in my eyes that means houle remains the #1 goalie and loic and kyle become goalies 2a and 2b until one of them step up and show that they can be consistent in this league. if the affiliates want their guys to play more than that they can move them... |
