Has anyone found out what happened in Florida? I remember Hammel saying he would talk about it after the series ended. Just wondering what it was all about. Something to do with the area around the penalty box I think but I'm not sure.

Apparently after JJ got into an altercation and was sent to the penalty box a fan slipped him a one-hundred dollar bill through the glass.

I didn't realize we had to tip the opposition's players when they sit in the box for their penalties! You'd think the Kiss-Cam thing would be enough.

I heard from somebody today who said along with the bill there were some racial comments made by the fan prior to, which even got the rest of the Florida fans near him upset.

Thanks for the info. I'm just glad that it was bad behavior on the Florida fans and not the Cyclones team.

According to Coach Weber JJ handed the bill to Bob Case to hold for him till after the game; so yes he kept it!

I had also heard that there were some racial things said but JJ claimed not to have heard any of that. If the racial stuff is true that is WAY beyond the boundaries of fan behavior and should be investigated by the Everblades and the league.
