not yet, but the echl transactions don't update until after 5pm and even then aren't totally accurate. it's entirely likey that it may not show on the echl transactions until weds HAHA...

Question for everyone-it seems that RYAN Nie (got it right this time ) was
only loaned to Milwaukee for a short time and Lee was only needed one night.I
would love to see him given a PTO contract for one game and let him go in for
a few minutes. The man has stood by and covered for emergencies for two years
and a couple minutes in a game would be a great reward.Wouldn't everyone want
to call up ECHL stats and see your name even for one minute of play! If this team
can't cover for a couple minutes of play in one game-it doesn't deserve a playoff
spot. |

here's the thing...does lee even want to play. they guy has been playing hockey a long time by minor league standards; it goes back to 98-99, but he stepped up to the english premier league in 00-01. i have a feeling that if lee wanted a chance to be more than more than an EBUG, he would have had. especially last year when both dov and ceddy got called up and chuck had to get milwaukee to send us max and then go and find irvin mustokovs (sp) so we would have 2 goalies, or how about this season when both loic and kyle were having issues, with a depleted roster it have been no problem to sign lee and carry 3 goalies for a few games. the bottom line is that there have been prime opportunities to sign lee and for whatever reason he never has.
i'm glad we have a guy that knows the game running the tape equipment. lee helps at practices at times, and even suits up when we are short on goalies. it's nice to hace a guy that knows the team and is capable rather than some random ebug. |

Interesting entry on today's (3/4) transaction list....
Johnstown:
Delete Kyle Gajewski, G recalled by Milwaukee (AHL)
Milwaukee didn't want Nie, so they get Gajewski instead? I'm no expert in hockey personnel decisions, but Nie is far better than Gajewski. Why did they drop him in favor of Juice? |

My guess is that Milwaukee needs somebody to ride the bench and Chuck begged them to send Nie to us and let Juice get the splinters. |

Nie is on an ECHL only contract. i think the main reason ryan got called up rather than kyle last week was logistics. kyle was in florida and nie was in cincinnati while milwaukee was playing in iowa; it was just easier to get nie to iowa than it was gajewski... |
