With Miller, St. Denis, McElroy, Couglin, O'Hanley and Salekin our defense and our goaltending looks solid.

Van Guilder didn't dress for any of the 3 Hamilton games last weekend and once some of the Hamilton players return from injury, I'd think that he'd be back with us as well.

Cincinnati Signs Krug
Cyclones Receive St. Denis From Hamilton
March 11, 2009

CINCINNATI - The defending Kelly Cup champion Cincinnati Cyclones announced that they have signed forward Adam Krug and that Hamilton of the American Hockey League has reassigned defenseman Frederic St. Denis to Cincinnati.

The Cyclones are the ECHL affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens and the Nashville Predators of the National Hockey League and Hamilton and Milwaukee of the AHL.

Also on the the AHL transactions page......

03/11/2009 James Sixsmith (LW) Milwaukee DEL Released from PTO

And......

03/11/2009 Jimmy Kilpatrick (F) Houston DEL Released from PTO

What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

ZINGER!!!!!

killer has been in town for awhile. i guess his release officially means we can add him.

sixsmith is utah property the last time i checked...however we just sent beauchamp and clark out to utah in exchange for future considerations so you never now. i really liked james last year, he was solid but got over shadowed by DD, beau, latty and JM. if he does find his way back, i think he'd fit right in....

There are some pictures of Adam Krug here: http://wsuathletics.cstv.com/sports/m-hockey/mtt/krug_adam00.html
The first one is interesting.

Here is a later picture and his 2007-08 record: http://adrianbulldogs.cstv.com/sports/m-hockey/mtt/krug_adam00.html
Named MCHA Player of the Year. Led NCAA DIII in points per game (2.66) and assists per game (1.62)...finished the season with 77 points (30 G, 47 A) and 151 total shots...had a +47 plus/minus rating including two games at +5.

His 2008-09 is not bad but apparently not quite as impressive as the prior year. http://www.uscho.com/stats/player.php?pid=10226&gender=m

Sounds like a good catch.

Outstanding to hear about Kilpatrick. He was injured (or so I heard) so it probably is standard to keep any player who is injured on the same roster until he is ready to resume playing.

Who knows about Krug? In Chuck we trust on this for me.

Getting rid of BeauChUmp and Davis is outstanding as well. In just this week, Chuck really did haul the garbage out to the curb: MacLeod, Sowhatske, chump and the pitiful Davis all gone.

If we could get Sixsmith that would be an added bonus. But, for Beaucahmp and Davis a bag of practice pucks would be fair value.

Once Weber is able to replace Van Viliet and Ferazzoli, then our probable playof roster would be set.

The only players on Hamilton who would be eligible for the playoffs for us would be Wyman and Van Guilder. For Milwaukee, only Santorelli (please NO) would have played enough ECHL games (5) to qualify for the post season.
