We left the game with about 10 minutes to go. Obviously, didn't miss anything. Let's hope that the REAL team shows up tomorrow. BTW, kind of off the path but does anybody think the person at the end of this commercial looks like Barrett Eghoetz?

What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Where to start-one of the worst games played all year. Was the trade with Reading worth it-No chemistry on the ice tonight makes me wonder. Gwinnett reminds me of Reading,a big team that makes you pay for mistakes and will out hustle you on the ice.No one playing on the same page.Nie was flat horrible tonight.Even though he was hung out to dry, still was not on his game.Still say rotate for rest of the season and coach needs to put together a 2nd line of players not going up and let them play together.Syro looked horrible,Barrett was roughed up all night and actually saw him leave the ice late in the game with a look like "#$*& this!"Why can't we play on Wednesday nights! We looked like the team that did the travel. |

Just awful looking. However.....
Lots of new players and there was probably a lack of familiarity with one another which contributed to the sloppy display. That's my story and I'm sticking to it
The Cyclones have been doing "the splits" with teams which they have met in two or three game series for over a month. In Missippi they won the first game of the series and lost the second. In Florida they lost the first and won the second.
After sweeping Dayton at home on Jan 21-22, they reverted to the old pattern.
Against Reading (home), Elmira and Reading (away), they lost the first game of the series and came back to win the next day.
Let's hope that repeats itself on Thursday. |

| Absolute horrible effort. Outplayed, out-hustled and out-hit. No chemistry whatsoever. SOMEONE has got to step up when JJ's not in the lineup. It was like everyone Cyclone had a bullseye on their jersey with "HIT ME - There's no Johnson tonight" in Neon letters!! Hope Thursday's better. |

Remember, we were all thinking this about the time that the weekend series with Trenton, played horribly that Friday night, and the complete OPPOSITE of a team showed up Saturday, and a new team started showing up each game afterwards.
I agree with the idea that this team just isnt in a comfort zone right now, for multiple reasons, however, I have faith that all the new additions are for good reason, and CWeb is just moving his chess pieces in place for the final strike!!!

This is a different team when JJ is not playing...Will he be back tonight? If not, I will sit home and watch paint dry before I go back and sit through another evening like last night.
Syro is lazy...always the last back on defense (watch for this tonight). McElroy needs to go back to playing his game and being more agressive. I hardly new he was on the ice last night.

i just dont think .500 will cut it tho. at this point this team needs to play like it's do or die or 04apr09 will be the LAST game of the season. as for last night just like everyone else said it had to be one of the worst, if not the worst effort of the year. i dont know if it was necessarily the most recent trade or if this team just lacks talent but GWT schooled them in every part of the game. hopefully tonight brings a better effort.....

well said bebe....
there are 9 games left at this point. the top 5 teams have all played 63 games. the top 3 teams all have 73 pts and the 3rd and 4th are tied with 72pts...going 4-5, or even 5-4 over the last 9 isn't going to cut it. even though 8 of the 9 are within the division i think the guys need to go at least 6-3 to be safe. with the last 4 games all against j-town i think the guys need to take 3 out 4 and win the final game of the season strictly for a momentum standpoint since there is a good chance that j-town could be the first round opponent....

| I still say the weeknight game earlier this year against Charlotte (the "fire alarm" game) was the worst effort of the year, but last night was a close second. Our guys were just kind of ... there. Too much green beer the night before? Who knows. Definitely disappointing after they dominated in Trenton on Sunday. Maybe it's always just the first game playing a new, Southern team ... if I remember correctly we dropped the first game against Mississippi before taking the next two. Looking forward to see how they come out tomorrow. |

Bottom line for me tonight-if the effort isn't there tonight the jersey will be turned INSIDE OUT for the third period.I will give a pass to TJ on physical because coming back from suspension he has to be extra careful. No JJ,IAN and a careful TJ-someone needs to step up.Sorry Nie for ragging on you earlier, with no help from the team no effort on your point would have made a difference. |
