Message from John Hamel:

We need everyone's help as Cincinnati looks to become the sixth team in pro hockey history (by our count) to rally from a 3-0 deficit in a best of seven series to rally back and win the series.

WHY NOT US?!

The other five times a rally from a 3-0 deficit to win a series are listed below:

1942 Stanley Cup Finals, Toronto rallied past Detroit.

1960 AHL Calder Cup semifinals, Rochester slipped past Cleveland

1975 NHL semifinals, New York Islanders upended New York Rangers

1989 AHL Southern Division Finals, Adirondack tripped Hershey

1999 IHL Turner Cup semifinals, Orlando nipped Detroit

WHY NOT US?!

No team in the 21-year history of the ECHL has rallied from a three games to none deficit to win a series. No team in ECHL history has ever repeated as champions.

WHY NOT US?!

Head Coach Chuck Weber was a part of the Orlando Solar Bears team during the 1999 comeback. The Solar Bears won the seventh game against the Detroit Vipers in double overtime, as Todd Krygier scored just 25 seconds into the fifth period to send Orlando to the Turner Cup Finals—where it lost in seven games to the Houston Aeros.

WHY NOT US?!

Cincinnati, OH- The Cincinnati Cyclones are calling for all local media to rally the Cincinnati public in a show of support Friday night! The ECHL North Division Champion Cyclones are down to South Carolina three games to none making Friday night's contest a must win. If the Cyclones can muster a win on Friday night, they will return to U.S. Bank Arena on Saturday night for Game 5 of the series.

We are asking all local media to help broadcast our S.O.S. (Save Our Season) call. The Cyclones fans need to up the ante and pack U.S. Bank Arena this Friday. In a show of support, Donatos Pizza is proud to offer Clones fans $1 Pizza Slices all night long. The Cyclones are asking all fans to wear white to "White Out" the Stingrays and support the only Championship team this city has seen in decades.

WHO: American Conference Finals - Cyclones vs South Carolina

WHEN: Friday 7:30pm

WHAT: S.O.S. (SAVE OUR SEASON) with $1 Donatos Pizza slices. All fans are encouraged to wear white to support the Cyclones and "White Out" South Carolina. Tickets only $12

WHERE: U.S. Bank Arena (100 Broadway Cincinnati, OH 45202)

WHY: Rally the city around the only championship/playoff team in town.

If you would like to speak to anyone in the Cyclones organization, please contact Media Relations Director John Hamel at 513-421-1342 or Marketing Coordinator Sean Lynn at 513-421-1210

No one has won the Kelly Cup in consecutive seasons.

The Riley Cup (precursor to the Kelly Cup) was won consecutively by The Hampton Roads Admirals and the Toledo Goaldiggers.

quote:
Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

And you, my father, there on the sad height,
Curse, bless, me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Dylan Thomas said it better.

Or better yet.........

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OvOUrQ4SIYA

What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

ZINGER!!!!!
