| I like the selections i hope we keep Ehgoetz, and some of the affiliates send back some good players, if we sign some of the fresno "refugees" we might be in good shape for another deep playoff run |

i would have to agree...pretty standard stuff. chuck has a history of not qualifying veterans. barret is a guy i'd love to see back. he works hard and is a great captain. he seems to have a pretty good relationship with chuck so my best guess is if he's back in the echl next season he'll be here. there is a pretty good chance he jumps over to europe to make some money before finally hanging them up...time will tell.

I wonder why we only chose to qualify 6 instead of the maximum of 8 ? There had to be at least two other guys that were worthy of an offer (Dietrich and Quesnale come to mind).
Of course no one knows what was said in the exit interviews and next years' affiliated players may make up the majority of the roster (hopefully!) . (Lets secure those affiliations soon!)
In any case I know Coach Weber knows what he's doing so I guess we can wait until October to see where everyone ends up. |
