Remember the "good old days" when we had a Thanksgiving Night game and we always
drew a big crowd? I was looking at our schedule and we play Kalamazoo on Wednesday
and Friday and they are stuck here Thursday (Thanksgiving Day) with no game. I wonder
if we could move Wednesday's game to Thursday and play Thanksgiving night. They have a
previous game on Sunday at home,so this could save them a night's stay. Don't know
if USBA has anything scheduled on Thanksgiving. Any thoughts ? |

Even if they don't have a game on Thanksgiving day, they could at least do some kind of holiday-themed promotion the game before it. Remember two seasons back when they did WKRP "Turkey Drop" night? Harmless promotion (the only effort it took them was to dig up the old footage from the TV show to show on the scoreboard and drop stuffed animal turkeys from the suites) and one that I think a lot of locals think is unique. It wasn't the biggest crowd, but it was a decent one for a weeknight from what I remember, among one of the best weeknight crowds at that point because attendance definitely hadn't picked up.
So what I'm saying is ... bring back WKRP Turkey Drop night. |

| 2006 turkey drop... one of my favorite promotions the Cyclones ever had... that and that Wet Wednesday where I chugged down eight of those PBRs and walked to a cab stumbling after... WHAT A RUSH! I intend on repeating that feat during the season... |

| this will also give you notification that I am going to be a season ticket holder again this year and will be purchasing my season tickets in the end of September... that way by October ill be getting them and we can all raise the division banner with me in my seat :) Fan club, look for me to be joining as well |
