NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Nashville Predators of the National Hockey League announced that they have agreed to terms with forward Ryan Maki, who played in the ECHL as a rookie.
The Cincinnati Cyclones are the ECHL affiliate of Nashville of the NHL and Milwaukee of the American Hockey League.
Selected in the sixth round (176th overall) by Nashville in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft, the 24 year old had one goal and four penalty minutes in five regular season games and one goal and four penalty minutes in six Kelly Cup Playoff games for Cincinnati in 2007-08. He also played in the AHL where he had five points (2g-3a) and 23 penalty minutes in 54 regular season games and two penalty minutes in three playoff games for Milwaukee.
Maki returned to Milwaukee in 2008-09 and had career highs with 12 goals, 13 assists, 25 points, 37 penalty minutes and 65 games and two points (1g-1a) and four penalty minutes in 11 playoff games. |
