Apparently going to an Italian team...

What you do today can change the course of your life far into the future. Today is critical. Today really counts.

Good for him.

He's one of those "tweeners" who just couldn't make quite enough of an impression to stick in the AHL, but was too good for the ECHL.

He's going to turn 27 (I think) soon, so the time for cashing in on European opportunities is now.

I hope that he avoids any more concussions. I wouldn't have been surprised if McElroy would have called it quits over this issue. I'm glad that his health is good enough for him to play.

We've been lucky so far. Both Sproat and Eghoetz could have gone the European route as well. If we end up with Van Guilder or Kilpatrick then we will be quite fortunate as these two could easily land lucrative Eurpean deals. The fact that both are second year pros works in our favor, I would think.

Well good luck to him. Honestly, I'm a little jealous. Italy? Awesome!
