I think we might get both goalies from Nash/Mil because
Nashville- Pekka Rinne, and Dan Ellis
Milwuakee- Mark Dekanich, Drew Macintyre
where does that leave Chet Pickard and Jeremy Smith?
Montreal- Carey Price, Curtis Sanford
Hamilton- Cedrick Desjardin, Robert Mayer

Jaroslav Halak is still with the Canadiens, right? So that would mean Mayer is a strong possibility. I hope they get rid of him that that Mayer stays in Hamilton and Ceddy gets to start full time like he deserves it, not splitting time with Sanford.

Drew Macintyre is with the trashers organization now, so Chet will most likely be there (milwaukee)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
UPDATE: Sanford was just assigned to Hamilton, so that all but ensures Meyer will be in cincinnati
Ceddy is one injury away from the NHL.
He is an eternity away from the ECHL and USBA. He has earned his way out of the low minors forever. He will never wear a Cyclones sweater again.
uh mtl's goalies are price and halak. sanford is in hamilton with ceddy. that will most likely put mayer on a bus to the 'nati.
as far as milwaukee's situation goes, they do have an overstock in the goal department. i'd have to check the age requirements but pickard may be able to go back to juniors an overage player, as a first round draft pick (18th overall) i would love to see pickard here to see what he can do. my guess is we get smith from milwaukee but all indications are we'll get the goalie who has the poorest camp performance.
Im happy that Van Guilder was able to stay in the A he rightfully deserves the shot, it will be interesting to see Bryan Leitch since we dont know much about him but he is one of those AHL/ECHL contracts, but hey the Captain is back
Yeah, selfishness makes me wish Van Guilder was here to help the team, but we all knew he was gone. Was a great college player and put up great numbers here, best we can hope for is if Nashville sends more players down to the Ads later in the season and Mark comes back since he is on a 2 way contract.
Leitch put up quality numbers at Quinnipiac, and if he was good enough to earn a 2 way contract he should be a quality forward while with us.
Hans Benson was released from the Rampage, according to their podcast today. Glad we have an enforcer on the roster, possibly 2 if Hagel stays on.
Kilpatrick isnt listed on the current Aero's roster for 09-10, but couldnt find anything saying he was released from camp
Robert Mayer is listed on the preseason/training camp schedule as the only goalie so far.
