Thank you Jim! Anyone have anything on Voakes? He started like a ball of fire and was well after Saturday's game. Did he get hurt at practice?

I wonder if he has a back case of the flu? But 21 day IR sounds like an pretty bad thing for the Cyclones, they needed him this weekend. If I remember right Elmira is 5-0 so far. I think we will be hearing a fight for a win on the radio tonight.

Keep in mind that Teslak (their starting goalie) was called up to Adirondack.

What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Dang. Voakes is out for the next 6 weeks. Chuck said the AHL put a call in for him too, but the injury put a damper on that. (Sourced from 1530 am pregame interview)

Ok - any further word on Voakes? Was he at the game last night? Did Chuck say which AHL team was asking about him? Inquiring minds want to know!

Thanks!

Cyclones Sign Mark O'Leary Lose Mueller to Milwaukee

Date: 10/31/2009

CINCINNATI, Ohio The Cincinnati Cyclones, ECHL affiliate of the NHLs Montreal Canadiens and Nashville Predators, announced this afternoon they have signed forward Mark OLeary.

OLeary, 24, is in his fourth professional season and spent last year between Reading, Trenton and Phoenix, playing in 54 games and netting ten goals and nine assists for 19 points and 58 penalty minutes. Mark appeared in two games with Johnstown this season.

The five-foot-ten, 195 pound native of Owen Sound, ON, played three seasons of hockey in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) between Mississauga and Guelph. OLeary played in 182 OHL games and had 18 goals and 33 assists for 51 points and 242 penalty minutes. His pro career began in the Central Hockey League with Rio Grande and Mark has also had a stint in the American Hockey League with Grand Rapids (2007-08).

In other Cyclones news, second-year forward Chris Mueller has been recalled by the Milwaukee Admirals (AHL). He becomes the fourth Cincinnati player to earn an AHL promotion this season and is the third player from the opening night roster to currently be playing at hockeys AAA level (Hans Benson and Jason Jozsa are the others currently thereKevin Roeder was elevated earlier in the year and has since been returned).

You guys just stole an all-star from Ontario. Henrich can dominate games at this level. He made Wheeling look like a contender out of the gate in 07-08, and immediately after his AHL call-up, they became the worst team in the league. If he plays up to his potential, he makes the Clones an even more dangerous team.

Any insight as to why Ontario was willing to cut him loose for basically nothing? Maybe he wanted better access to AHL call-ups?

My point Woodrow Henrich, the games that he will play will be very dominant in this city and in this division, why Ontario let him go is very questionable, but hey he is ours now
