CINCINNATI, Ohio The Cincinnati Cyclones, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Montreal Canadiens and Nashville Predators, announced this afternoon they have had defenseman Reid Cashman recalled by the Milwaukee Admirals (AHL). The club will have defenseman Jason Jozsa reassigned to it also.

Cashman, 26, is in his third professional season and had appeared in Cincinnati's first nine games of the season. He collected a goal and nine assists for ten points. Reid ranks second among ECHL defensemen in scoring (ten points) and assists (nine). He also ranks third among league rearguards with six power play assists and seven power play points. He appeared in 18 games (two goals, four assists for six points) with Wilkes-Barre last season.

Jozsa, 28, played in four games with Milwaukee after being recalled from the Cyclones. Jason has already played in three games for Cincinnati this season.

Cashman is the sixth Cyclones player to earn an AHL promotion this season, after 17 players earned the nod to the AHL last year. In the three-plus seasons that Chuck Weber has been the coach of the Cyclones, 54 players have earned promotions to the AHL.

The Cyclones travel to North Division leader Kalamazoo for games Friday and Saturday night. Face off both nights is at 7:30pm and the games will be carried on the team's website at www.cycloneshockey.com. The team is next at home for a pair of games next week when Trenton comes to U.S. Bank Arena (Tuesday, November 17 at 10:30am and Wednesday, November 18 at 7:30pm).

Tickets for the 2009-10 Cincinnati Cyclones season are now on sale. The Cyclones Sales Department can be reached at 513-421-PUCK, extension 3. The Cyclones have selected Friday night games carried on 1530 Homer The Sports Animal and all contests aired on their website at www.cycloneshockey.com. The club returns to U.S. Bank Arena on Thursday, November 5 against Johnstown at 7:30pm.

Good for Reid, but he's a solid Defenseman that we will need in the future. Hopefully see him back soon.
