I suggested to the merchandise booth, make note to self PLEASE DO NOT AIR HORNS ON EDUCATION DAY. I know they made alot of money on them, but damn, my head is still hurting. Good game, except the 5 on 3 blown chances. |

I know they got vouchers (free child with paying adult) for future game. Smart move. |

I have a friend and his daughter coming down tomorrow. As usual,I couldn't get the seat next to our season tickets, but it always seems to be empty. My plan is to probably find three seats together in a somewhat "neutral" kid's zone. Like I said earlier, the last game was well taken care of by the teachers and helpers. However-you may want to bring ear plugs if the game really starts getting rowdy!!
hey bags, It might be a season ticket holder seat? who knows? Like the row behinde me, It belongs to season ticket holders that never comes. I ask the rep about them and he said that his client didnt want to move down a row B/C he wanted to get use to his seats(they have only been use 1x all of last year). so I sit there anyway |

Well, the kids had a great time at the game today and so did our teachers. However I was not impressed with how things went with parking and loading busses......due to lack of supervision or people not understanding directions. We were late getting our kids back to school.....and needless to say we (The teachers, especially me the coordinator) got chewed out for being late. |

That may be the case Rob but it always seems funny how someone would have a season ticket in that location and never use it. Anyhow, the good seats behind our regulars were empty and the three of us sat together. Our section (126) was completely empty top to bottom except for us with 2:30 left. I swear I took a shower this morning!! |

Watching Jozsa and Motherwell butcher the 5 on 3's made my head hurt more than any air horn could ever possibly do.
How in the hell did Weber let these two guys stay on the ice for the entire 5 minutes of 5 on 3 number one?? They couldn't make a 15 foot wide open pass to one another and fanned on more than a few shots.
Weber got a big 'F' in power play management from me on Tuesday. I'm sure he's deeply disturbed by this |

you have to give some credit to trenton's pk. they were quite aggressive, even on the 5 on 3. passes will be missed and shoots will be fanned upon; it is minor league hockey afterall. in my opinion, the pp generated more chances than it failed on. if not for the play of trenton's goalie, the game would have generated a lot of pulled pork sandwiches. the biggest mistake i saw on the pk was late in the 5 on 3 the Cyclones failed to hold the puck in and then coming back back on the attack got cute rather than getting the puck deep. getting the puck deep is key inside the last 20secs of a pp as it forces the guys coming out of the box to join the play. you see a lot of goals scored 15 to 20 secs after a pp expires because of the mismatches it can create when say 2 defensemen come out and join a forward and 2 d. |
