Believe it or not, the Cyclones are minor league hockey, thus making this a minor league hockey board. hrc inferred that someone who has nothing better to do than troll a minor league hockey board should get a life. I just pointed out that hrc seems to be the head troll on this minor league hockey board, thus he has more of nothing better to do than any of us.
Of course recently, his posts, which already lack any real hockey content, have gotten even less hockey-oriented, with more childish name calling and personal attacks. Always classy, especially when you don't even know the person to whom you are making those comments. Kinda like another person who used to post on another board....I think his name was Dick. |

| I don't know a lot of people on here one from another, but if there are those who are so down on the Cyclones, why would they bother to post on here at all? I never had any use for the Ducks when they were in town, but never posted anything on their site, or had anything to say to bash their team. |

I rest my case. I had no idea who you were until that post.
To answer your question, not that you care and just want to stir up crap on this site, it was more of an issue betwen the Robinsons and the former Cyclones owner. It was more of a personal issue and had nothing to do with the team itself. I just never had an interest in their organization. But I NEVER blasted the team or their fans like you and a couple others are intent on doing here with nothing better to do.
And even though the Cyclones have two AHL affiliates (which I would 100% agree it is a faster, more talented league...which is why they are directly under the NHL), I still don't follow the AHL that much. I follow the Cyclones since that is where I started and is a local team, and I follow the NHL.
And you never did answer why if you hate the Cyclones so much you post on here? Maybe there is something to what was previously said: "Get a life."
But then, it is better to be silent and thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt. No doubt about you is there... |

There wasn't really an issue between the Gardens and the former Cyclones owner, Doug Kirchhofer. The Cyclones wanted their fans to think there was so they would buy into why they were moving downtown after such a successful run at the Gardens.
The reason I didn't answer your question about hating the Cyclones is because I don't. |

There should never have been more than one team in this city to begin with. The AHL should never have allowed a team to go into the Gardens when there was already an established team in place with the IHL Cyclones, and the ECHL should never have allowed a team to go into USBA when there was already an established team in town with the Ducks.

There should never have been more than one team in this city to begin with. I happen to agree to your point, WOW who whould have thought? would that however prevented the NHL Ducks from moving their AHL team? After the Ducks left the gardens would there have been a team left? and IF the ECHL Cyclones didn't come in would we be teamless? |

I suppose it depends on what the word troll in this case means....HRC has posted on this board for awhile, most of his posts that I have had the pleasure to read are Cyclones related. Most instances they are Cyclone related without any comments from the Donnie Hockey gallery either. I would suppose that most folks consider trolling to be a person who has virtually no interest in the thread at hand posting only to outrage the folks that actually do have an interest.
There seem to be three folks, present company included that at some point and time have indicated that they have very little interest in the ECHL brand, however they seem to have for what ever reason the desire still to post on the very same site of a team and a league you have no interest for. A rational person would think that if you have no interest regarding a particular website and content, then most uninterested folks just won't post on the site.
HRC has 700+ posts to a website dedicated to the Cyclones fans, HRC is indeed a Cyclone fan thus few or any posts of his would ever be considered trolling...certainly any critisizm about the team from HRC would be viewed much differently from his fellow Clone fans then critisizm from the 3 amigos.
