CINCINNATI, Ohio - The Cincinnati Cyclones, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Montreal Canadiens and Nashville Predators, announced this afternoon they have had forward Mike McLean recalled by the Milwaukee Admirals (AHL).
McLean has played in 31 games for the Cyclones, netting ten goals and eleven assists for 21 points. This is Mike's second trip to the American Hockey League this season. He has also played in six games with Milwaukee this season.
The Cyclones host the defending Kelly Cup champion South Carolina Stingrays Friday night at 7:30pm. The game will feature Bill Cunningham bobbleheads to the first 2500 fans through the gates. The contest will be carried on 1530 Homer The Sports Animal with the pregame show airing at 7pm.
Tickets for the 2009-10 Cincinnati Cyclones season are now on sale. The Cyclones Sales Department can be reached at 513-421-PUCK, extension 3. The Cyclones have selected Friday night games carried on 1530 Homer The Sports Animal and all contests aired on their website at www.cycloneshockey.com.

Unfortunatley we will probably never see McLean again he got "Lietched" by Milwaukee to Gwinett, Georgia

I'm quite sorry to hear this.
MacLean never got completely untracked here. He was point per game player with Dayton, but wasn't able to replicate that here. I'm not sure why.
He's got a hard shot and was strong with the puck. I enjoyed watching him play.
Best of luck to him in GA.

| It took him a while but I think the last couple of months he started to play like he did in Dayton and has been more productive, Good Luck McLean |

That sucks. I liked his play, it keep improving as the season moved on.

| Dont wanna see McLean but wish him well. Losing Josza hurts too. I thought he was pretty good for us but he never did quite live up to his the standard he set in Dayton. |

Syracuse recalled Chris Higgins from Gwinnett. It may not have anything to do with McLean's transfer, but I just thought I'd throw that out there. If it is related I doubt it will be made official until game time as is typically the case when Chuck moves players.
If it is a move to bring in someone else, it doesn't really surprise me. McLean has had some good games, but, as others have pointed out, he hasn't really lived up expectations; especially after the stellar season he had playing for a bad Dayton team last year. |
