This is pathetic from both parties involved. However comments made on a message board do not under any circumstances warrant ANY type of threats or physical violence. Regardless if it was a poke, shove, slap, or punch it just shows how immature and unable to deal with the situation is an adult manner.

Secondly people that do not see a problem with physical violence are just as bad. If the posters accusations are true, which I would see no reason for him to lie but then again I could be wrong, I would hope the person that attacked you is permanetly removed from any further events at the arena.

The more I read this board the more I feel like I am wasting my time. I come here for information about the team I dearly love. Not a bunch of immature third graders bickering over everything from the weather, attendance, the ducks, to people's personal lives. I am sure very few/none of you care but there are some serious issues here.

Welcome to Mrs. Twister's 6th grade class.

Actually that might be an unfair insult to 6th graders.

First, it's sad that people think it's okay to assault, attack, poke, slap, physical contact, whatever other term you want to use, someone because of messages posted on a message board. Your right to swing your fist ends where my nose begins. Or any other part of my body.

Second, anyone who says that Two Minutes "had it coming" obviously hasn't been paying attention.

Everybody thinks this is a Cyclones-Ducks thing. It isn't. Take the hockey out, and think about this:

I came on this and posted some opinons that hrc666 didn't agree with. He immediately started belittling me, calling me names, and eventually even made comments about my job.

THIS MAN DOESN'T KNOW ME AND HAS NEVER MET ME!!!

"You reap what you sow" means that if you make personal comments about someone on a message board, you should expect that person to make personal comments back...NOT that you should expect a physical confrontation at a minor league hockey game.

"Being a man" about things means to respect someone else's opinion without stooping to name calling and personal comments, ESPECIALLY with someone you don't know, and never even met.

And yes, I would be saying this if it were the other way around, and Two Minutes was the one initiating the physical confrontation.

It's pretty sad when the people who have the fewest amounts of posts are the only ones who seem to actually want to talk about the Cyclones and nothing else...

It's pretty sad when someone can't count on having a safe and enjoyable experience at a minor league hockey game.

More of......It's not my fault it's his fault. His fault not my fault, there isn't a side that is innocent. Until each side involved can admit that then this will continue.

Sure it's sad that someone cannot go to a hockey game and cannot be safe, it's also just as sad that folks feel inclined to post certain threads only to ruffle up feathers and ilicit a response, regardless of it's accuracy and opinion....it's sad that even today we apparently have bad blood that was initiated YEARS ago......lots of sad things...on the subject of "having it coming?" well I suppose that is the chance one takes when you bring into a message board ones personal life...I would suggest that the next time we leave ones life out of Tongue-in-cheek poking fun message boards......I for one have been very very guilty of this with some of my discussions with DH. No more.....I would suggest we all do the same.

...Or come to a message board without the team being bashed by a few select individuals whose sole purpose is to demean the organization at every opportunity.

...And on the eighth day, GOD created the Cyclones!

Actually it's pretty sad that those who just want to support this team and comment about the games have to come onto this board and read senseless bull****. I don't know about anyone else but I'd like to just come here and chat about the games/the team. Why does it have to turn into "I know more about hockey history in Cincinnati than you do."

History is exactly that. History.

Who gives a rat's ass about what happened in 1994? I don't.

All I know is that our team is in first place, on a winning streak, and looking like they could go deep into the playoffs and the same select few people keep stirring up useless crap in every single thread on this board. And it typically has NOTHING to do with the current team.

It'd make my day if some of you children got in a brawl at the area and got banned for life. I'd give a standing O for that.

GROW UP.

You guys are crazy if you think both parties are at fault. The law is clear. In this case the law will be unconcerned with provocation. Having a tiff on a message board is no justification. Imagine how that explanation will sound in front of a judge!

Those that want to hear the other side of the story are unlikely to hear it. hrc666 is not stupid. He likely knows that it is never a good idea to talk to cops and it certainly isn't a good idea to discuss the incident in a public forum which could be used against him in court.

Two wrongs don't make a right. TMWWI was wrong to call out hrc666 about his personal stuff on a public board - and no, TMWWI, I'm not buying that it was intended as a joke. And hrc666 was wrong if, as alleged - he went after TWMMI.

Both are wrong, both have been actually very immaturely. End of debate

100% more important than anything in this thread...

Hamilton Bulldogs General Manager Julien BriseBois also announced today that the club has assigned forward Maxime Lacroix to the Cincinnati Cyclones of the ECHL.

You know what, at what point do we ban people for openly trolling?
I admit that I did it at HG, and I was banned (quite rightly). That said...can anyone else pinpoint the exact moment when the boards became a mecca for bickering? That should say a lot.

Still, death threats aren't good. That's taking it too seriously.
