OK--here we go. PLEASE explain to me and all of us why you insist on such anti cyclones anti cyclone player postings. Here is a kid (DD) who is trying for his dream and all you do is dump on him for your own selfish reasons which I hope you share with us.
Also--this is what I have been told of you from various sources. Please correct what is wrong. You did not play professional hockey--did you play hockey at all growing up? Your love of the Ducks comes from the fact you worked for them as their media director and, as such, lost your job when they folded due primarily, from your perspective, that the cyclones opened up downtown. So an inferior team from an inferior league with inferior players drove the better, more established team from the AHL out of town. I would have thought that as the superior team from the superior league with superior players they would have created a marketing/media plan that would have positioned them that way and drive the little ECHL team with the larger arena overhead out of town. Such a media plan would have been your responsibility I believe though. Can you tell me why you weren't able to create such a plan and keep the team here? Seems to me your rantings are nothing more than sour grapes over losing your job due, in part, to your inability to do your job. If you had done it well I would have thought you would have caught on with another AHL team or perhaps move up to the next level. By the way--how are things in Tampa? |

Dennis, there's too much to correct that you have wrong to go into. I've said it before (multiple times) and I'll say it again. I have no issues whatsoever with the Cyclones or the ECHL. I think the ECHL is an underrated league. It's closer to the AHL than the AHL is to the NHL in terms of caliber of play. Just because I don't think David Desharnais can play in the NHL doesn't make me anti-Cyclones. I bought a Cyclones season ticket package in 2007-08. I've gone to games this season. I want to see the team succeed. Because I was involved with the Ducks and worked for "those people" at the Gardens, some are going to assume I don't care for the Cyclones, that I don't want them to succeed. Those people couldn't be more wrong.
BTW - Tampa's good as long as Darryl Strawberry and Dwight Gooden stay off the roads. |

It was today. Sometimes it's gray though when the weather is overcast, often is the case during the winter here in Cincinnati. Please refer to your nearest window for the most up to the minute sky color coverage. |

When the sky is gray, it's due to clouds, so the question must be asked, is the sky blue even when it's gray? But actually the "sky" is really clear, the color is created by light refracting off of dust particles and other pollution in the atmosphere. So where does that leave us... |

hahaha well played.
Hmm, I'm not sure and thankfully I'm done with all science credits for college. So how about instead of debating sky color we grab a dollar PBR and debate Mayer or Smith. |

DH Glad to hear your answer, but such thoughts don't come through on your posts. Having a post each day entitled with the number of days DD has not been called up seems a bit in conflict with your answer however. can we agree to keep these kids who are pursuing their dreams out of all the other stuff? |

As I said in another thread, we'll all see where Desharnais is a year from now. Fair enough?
BTW...you really do need to get some better or more credible sources, as you've been given a lot of wrong information. |

Most importantly, never under any circumstances rely on the Cincinnati weather people to predict the sky color, Gray, blue.....there is a 50% chance today that we will see rain. Really, thankfully in my ER I cannot go into a patient's room and say...well sir, there is a 50% chance today that the illness you have today will kill you! |
