Had an amazing time at the sports bar last night with the guys and coaches! Talked to Chuck for a long time and I have to say that is the nicest guy i think I've ever met. Im only 22 but i've been around the game my whole life and never once did he look at me like i was just some kid who didnt know anything, very respectful even if i was wrong about something. It just solidifies the fact that we have the best group of fans players and coaches in the league. I had 2 people ask me for pictures because they thought i was on the team lol. Did that happen to anyone else? |

Dickmanns was fun, unfortunately not many players there but I heard most of them were already gone or packing up to get ready to leave. All the players/coaches there were friendly as usual. Talked to Roeder for a while and he couldnt have been any nicer. Sucks he wont be back next year but at least his injury was a blessing in disguise to us Clones fans to get to have him for the beginning of the season and through the playoffs. Maybe he will sign with Milwaukee to be close to Chicago and we will have an off chance of having him sent down to us. |

That was a great time at Dickman's yesterday! Kudos to the fan club for letting us know about it. I was happy to get to hold the cup and take my picture with it since I couldn't get into Fat Cat's the night of the championship. |

When talking to him, he said he will be in the AHL next year. Syracuse was drawing up a contract for him during the preseason and Columbus made a trade that added another D-man in Syracuse, so they had to renig on the promise to him. They tried getting him to sign a 2 way AHL-ECHL deal to place him with their ECHL team (Gwinnett) but he said no b/c he likes it here and if he was gonna stay in the ECHL this year it was going to be Cincinnati. If it werent for his injury another AHL team would have signed him up.
The selfish part of me says for him to re-sign in Cincinnati but hes just too good for this level, when hes healthy. |

Weber is just a class act. He gives each person his undivided attention and is as nice as he can be. He's an A plus in every relevant category for coaches. We've been lucky to have him this long and it's highly unlikely that he's going to be back.
I've heard rumors of Charlotte, Houston and Hamilton (if Boucher gets the Bluejacket job). The Houston rumor came from a source who claimed to have inside info. In any case, he's done everything he possibly can in the ECHL. The only possible knock on him prior to this year was that his success was primarily a function of recruiting.
This year's KC Championship was NOT a recruiting-driven Championship. LOL.
Weber's career appears to be a mirror image of this coach's:

Jeff Daniels will be the head coach in Charlotte unless he leaves the Carolina Hurricanes organization for an assistant coaching position with an NHL team. John Stevens is the first choice of the Minnesota Wild for the Houston job. Guy Boucher or Kevin Dineen will get the Columbus job. If Boucher leaves the Montreal organization, Habs GM Pierre Gauthier will let his assistant GM hire the coach for Hamilton which would bode well for Weber. It will be a different situation in Hamilton next season with Gauthier in his first full season as GM in Montreal. Gauthier won't care about wins and losses as long as his crown jewels get ice time. |

Anyways, I'm guessing Weber would probably be a good chance for Charlotte and Houston then. |

The guy from Dumb And Dumber? I love that movie. |
What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
