Del Monte scored for the second consecutive game, notched a "Gordie Howe hat trick" and was named the #1 Star of the Game. Good Stuff.

He's +2 over his last two, scored all of his points in those two games and was last night's first star.

Scoreless on no shots with a minus-1 tonight in a 2-1 loss vs. WBS, giving him three points (2-1-3) and a minus-4 rating in 10 games on the season.

Looks as if someone only is capable of reading a stat sheet. And not very well at that.

Del Monte is an energy line player who is getting rave reviews from those who actually follow the Amerks. Put me in the surprised camp as I did not project him as an AHLer, let alone an effective one.
