Anyone know how players are "nominated" for the ECHL weekly awards? Today's ECHL website has the weekly goalie award along with 4-5 other goalies who were "nominated". Cheverie isn't even listed. Can't believe such an omission with the streak he had. Did the front office mess this one up?
I would like to know as well. He went 3-0, .959 save percentage, and 1.33 GAA. He had better numbers than any other goalie, and couldnt even get a nod. Monster oversight...
Thats not good, somebody in Cincy screwed it up then. I would guess that responsiblity/task would fall to Brunker as he is the media/pr/internet guy. You would think somebody from the ECHL would handle the nominations/votes.
