It's -4 degrees in Calgary now. The crowd may look like one big blanket.

Just was looking at the Montreal roster and found this:
http://sports.yahoo.com/nhl/teams/mon/roster
* Brian Gionta
* #21
* Right Wing
* Montreal Canadiens
* Height: 5-7
* Weight: 175

Seems Montreal has TWO 5' 7" players on their own roster along with
one 5' 9" and four 5' 11" players. By the way- the worst team (Edmonton)
has no one under 5' 10". Looks like size might not be so important !

If size wasn't so important, then why is Montreal in the market for a top six forward with size such as former Cincinnati Mighty Ducks left wing and current Edmonton Oiler, Dustin Penner?

The Anaheim Ducks, Los Angeles Kings, Toronto Maple Leafs and Pittsburgh Penguins also have strong interest in Penner.

Oh look, more comparing against a older Cincinnati player.

When will you stop comparing Desharnais to the team you used to be a fan of?

Penner is a player Montreal is interested in, and he happened to be a former Cincinnati Mighty Duck. Thus the reference. If the mention of a former Cincinnati player bothers you, then so be it. Perhaps one day you'll be mature enough to handle the mention of non-Cyclones on a fan message board without flying off the handle. Then again, perhaps not. Decades will tell.

BTW...the team you say I used to be a fan of I never was.
