| Actually I think Foster is property of Rochester and not Florida because on the transactions it does not include Florida reassigns, he is also not listed on the Panthers prospects roster even though he was drafted by them. |

| I was just going on the assumption that he was theirs since he was drafted by florida. It gets confusing to follow. Thanks for looking that up. |

I was saying that both are "prospects," so there wouldn't be extra pressure to play the prospect over the ECHL contract guy. I just didn't type what I was thinking very effectively.

03/21/2011 Chet Pickard (G) Milwaukee DEL Reassigned by Nashville (NHL) to Cincinnati (ECHL)
from the AHL website today.
The reason we get Chet back is Nashville reassigned Atte Engren from Turku (FIN) |

I may not be Chet's biggest fan but we can't play Foster in every game. I would rather see Foster in both Toledo games and Pickard used in Kalamazoo. Against Toledo we need four points and give up no more than one to Toledo. |

Well, Nashville is choosing to bring a goalie in from Finland to be an AHL backup over their former #1 draft pick. That's a pretty good sign that we won't see Chet back next year. He's likely done.

Chet Pickard has another year to go on his entry-level NHL contract. Perhaps they're sending their former No. 1 pick back to the ECHL so he can play rather than backup.
He's struggled but Nashville isn't ready to write him off. Yet. |

Yeah Donnie, it's not like he hasn't been riding the bench here lately. Foster is CLEARLY the #1 here and if Nashville is pressing for playing time for Pickard it hasn't been happening. Maybe Skalde's email has been down... For a few weeks. <shrug>
