Great idea for March 25th game- "Southern Road Game" !
Following conditions for the team :
1. Team dresses in the visitor dressing road
2. Fans all wear your favorite southern jersey (doesn't matter
because we play good against ALL of them )
3. Everyone spend the night yelling "You Suck" against our own
players ( they will understand it's all in the spirit of getting
us to the playoffs )

Sweet tea at the concession stands.

Who's in charge of "Weather that doesn't suck?"

Yes, I grew up playing hockey... In Alabama.

Can we do it on Saturday night too? I am bringing 100 plus people to the game for the Child Advocacy night and would love to actually see them win a game against someone in our own division.

...And on the eighth day, GOD created the Cyclones!

About 3-4 hours before the game, they need to put the players on the team bus, drive them down I71/I75 south, follow I275 half way around the city, then make them take I71 or I75 south to US Bank Arena.

Better yet take them down I-75 to a Waffle House around Lexington, Kentucky. Everything's scattered, covered and chunked, Y'all.

What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Too bad there are no more Winn Dixie stores left in the area, someone could've run out and bought a bunch of boiled peanuts and pecan pies for the players to snack on during the game.

Speaking of Winn Dixie, I got an old jacket out last week and found my Winn Dixie shoppers card in the pocket.

Don't forget the Piggly Wiggly stores ! I can remember them from
Texas along with S & H Green Stamps ! Maybe a bus trip down to
Bob Evans before the game will make them more comfortable !

Or Shoney's. There used to be one in Georgetown. Don't know if it's still there. I know there are some in Louisville.

Thanks everyone for keeping this topic true to the spirit of it.
This team may not make the playoffs but at least with the latest
additions we have something to watch. Back in 2008 we played better
at home because we had a fast team and USBA is a big-fast ECHL level
arena. This year maybe our lack of speed is making us pay the price.
I bite my lip in saying it, but the early team would have been perfect
for the confines of the Gardens.

And the Magic Mystery Tour continues 4-3 in Georgia including the playoff series last year vs SC and Charlotte.

We should all pool our money and fly that Thrashers fan in Atlanta with the home made sleeveless Peverly jersey in for the game.
