Curious who made it to the NCAA games this weekend and what you thought. I actually did not get to see too much of the hockey. Too much going on backstage.

Also, curious what people thought of the college pep bands. I loved them. Absolutely thought it was the coolest thing ever. Just wondering how it would be received at some Cyclones games.

Remember when the Cyclones first came to "The Crown" and we had the
live organist down there. Fun watching him play with his helmet on !

Yeah, his name was Leroy. Those were the pre-netting days.

That is also very cool. When I was a kid going to Stingers games, all the music was from the organ in the loft below Section 60. And there were no end zone nets so he had to duck a lot.

My question about the NCAA's was the boards. They seemed "deader" than what we normally see at Cyclones games. Was it a matter of using a different board system or was it that the puck was just a little slower?

It was a great experience and we had lot's of fun. I'm definitely hoping they bring it back!

Especially when Dennis Sobchuk came flying down the left wing.
