HAMILTON, ON – Hamilton Bulldogs General Manager Julien BriseBois announced today the assignment of six players to the ECHL’s Cincinnati Cyclones. Forwards Thomas Beauregard, Ben Gordon, Olivier Latendresse, Kyle Rank, defenceman Matt MacDonald and goaltender Loic Lacasse will report to the defending Kelly Cup Champions, who open training camp today. The ‘Dogs also announced that forwards John Hewko and Stephen Yetman have been released from their Amateur Tryout (A.T.O.) contracts.

not that i'm complaining but i'm surpirsed to see thomas on that list and not ryan russell. thomas got a fair number of minutes with mtl while russell barely got a look.
also, i wonder if the 2 released guys will make their way here. if i recall that's how we got beau and DD last season. |

| Does anyone know much about the goaltender Loic Lacasse they just got from Hamilton? His numbers don't jump out at you, but then numbers don't mean everything. |

Said to look like he will be our #2 minder... he was not at camp this morning but will be there later this week so we will see how solid he looks. |

| Loic Lacasse was a washed up junior goalie in Canada... hopefully Chuck cleans him up... this is another example of take what we can get... |

| Fans, please remember we are getting players also from Montreal & Nashville, not just what Coach Chuck signs. Maybe he needs to be in this league to improve. After all, that's what this league is for! |

| cMan, I was researching Loic and he doesn't seem very washed up to me, a good goalie can have bad seasons depending on the team they are on. |

Washed up at 20 or 21?
The kid had a 19-18 record on the 5th place team in a 6 team league. The other goalie was 12-20 (or 21). He played in the UHL/IHL/CoHL and it was his rookie season.
We had a couple of other washouts come to us after their rookie seasons in the UHL/IHL/CoHL. Named Deitsch and Daoust. Terrible players the both of them |

Don't forget another goalie we had last year with bad previous
numbers who bailed us out the last month-Cody Rudkowsky ! |
