We're used to getting shafted by our arena, but you guys are owned by yours... ya think they'd have checked to see if you were playing first! |

| God as much as I love the Nielander group for bringing hockey back, why can't they follow a simple pre-set schedule? |

| THEY DO FOLLOW A PRE-SET SCHEDULE- It's called the almighty dollar. They are going to make more money for that event than they will the clones game... sad but true. |

the arena has to pay the bills. it sucks, and while our attendance has been on the rise the arena makes a lot more money off a concert than a hockey game. its the same reason our 1st game last season went from being at home to on the road. the arena paid for quite a bit of the season with that UFC event.
it's the joy of multi-use arenas. last season we not only had the UFC event but had to open at reading in the playoffs due to tickle-me-elmo on ice or some **** like that. the way i see it, if i have to deal with the occasional inconveniance so our arena can be profitable and support hockey then so be it. no big deal. |

Agreed Elvis. I just wish they would be more in tune with events already happening.
I'm probably going to that concert actually haha. |

You know what I think they should do? (Cue you chuckleheads saying that you don't care.)
Move the game up to Goggin (sic?) @ Miami.
Could help to branch out the fan base for your team up on campus. (Plus, a moved game is better than a re-scheduled game in my book) |

It's a mid-week throwaway game with respect to attendance. A big deal, so what, who cares type of move.
USBA isn't a highly utilized facility. Whenever they get a chance to hold a larger scale event, the Clones will play second fiddle. As well they should.
Jerrico's idea of moving the game to Goggin makes sense. To him

| I wonder if the Bank of Kentucky Center on NKU's campus has an ice surface? |

| It sucks, but it happens. Such is business. A concert for a major touring act is not going to get canceled due to a minor league hockey game, and there aren't many large concert venues in Cincinnati that they could have went with besides USBA given it was originally supposed to be at Riverbend in which I'm sure they sold a lot of lawn tickets. |

Being an NKU student I can answer. There is no ice surface in the facility. They decided to leave it out due to financial reasons. |
