Our goalies are figuring out who their defensemen are and what they are going to do if/when they get the puck. Neither guy is going to be as good as the guys we had last year; at least not in the beginning.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that this team most likely won't go 55-12-5. They are however predicted to be #5 in the ECHL by The Hockey News and should be exciting to watch.

For all you Dayton lurkers... maybe you could show us how to raise the Kelly Cup Banner, oh, yeah you didn't win. Additionally the Hockey News has you predicted dead nuts last. Enjoy your season!

Exactly. Pre season means ZERO at this level. Camp has been open for all of a week; the guys are just getting to know one another's names. All pre season is about is determining the final spots on the roster and getting the guys in shape.

Locasse probably hasn't played a game since last April. He had a 90.6% save percentage last year and a winning record with a team which finished about 8-10 games under .500. He's probably not going to be Cedric, but we were flat out lucky to have a goalie of his and double name's quality.

Dayton's forward roster looks absolutely pathetic. I doubt that they'll score 2.5 goals per game. They are seriously looking at a sub 55 point season. They have no Tifu or Beaudoin. They will be extremely offensively-challenged. It appears that their coach is trying to mold a physical and defensive team. Even if they are effective in this manner, it still won't be enough to overcome their obvious offensive poverty.

We've got two well developed affiliations, plenty of returning players and I'm sure that more than a few of Weber's signees will excel at this level. I'd be surprised if we don't have a 90 point season.

Oh, and one more thing.

WE WON THE KELLY CUP!!!!!!!!!
