nothing else to say - the Clones are going to have a tough year. Don't give me this "their young and learning" crap. This team needs to be on the show "overhauling" because we need an entirely new defense squad (keep Macdonald) and two different goalies.
It would be nice to get McElroy back! CUT GRIMALDI!!! |

| Dov was talking about possibly coming back. That seems like a good idea right about now. |

Well, we won't have to worry at all then by your standards ;) we are 0-2-1 right now...
now if we go 0-6-1 I'd worry LOL
This is not the Kelly Cup Champion team folks- but that doesn't mean that we have to stop cheering for them. Heck the Bengals are 0-7 and people still pack that place :-P I don't understand that one at all...
The Clones are YOUNG and LEARNING- THIS IS MINOR LEAGUE HOCKEY! (no wonder I get flamed when people hear I'm a Cyclones fan- Minor league hockey has it's UPS and DOWNS. A DOWN YEAR almost ALWAYS follows a CHAMPIONSHIP SEASON because most of those players make a move up. |

I agree with you to a point. I'm a Bungle Season ticket holder as well as a 'Clone season ticket holder, but I won't be going to any more Bungle games this season. Unfortunately, the season ticket holders for whatever team always feels obligated to go to the games (even if they suck).
BTW, I would rather watch a losing hockey game than a Bungle game. I have more faith with the Clones than with any other team. Yes teams have ups and downs and I'm expecting a down season, but I won't count them out. |
Cyclones hockey. A championship caliber team in a city of losers. |

I remember going to an early game last season and thinking "jesus, these guys are playing like a high school team at their first game."
It improved from that point, a bit.
I'd say that we'll be battling for the division lead by the end of November. |

My thoughts exactly. They have shown signs of coming around. May take a few more games for them to be completely in sync. |
What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

You guys are way too optimistic - defense is aweful and weak (no physical play from anyone of them), and our goaltending is dreadful (from my angle - two soft goals last night - both low glove side). We are in last place and will remain there the entire year.
Makway is huge but plays small. His size is an advantage if he plays a physical game otherwise he is a liability because he is not the most skilled guy out there. See ya later Makway and Grimaldi (and Macdonald if has another game like last night).
Woods took a couple of bad penalties last night but at least he plays with some emotion. He likes to check with his elbows a little high. Control the dumb penalties and he will be a spark plug to hopefullty energize this team. |

Judging by the way they played in the first 3 games, last night was a breath of fresh air. Sure, not perfect, but the play is showing vast signs of improvement.
WAIVER CLAIMS:
Cincinnati: Mike Nesdill, D from Victoria
OTHER TRANSACTIONS:
Cincinnati: Add Jimmy Kilpatrick, F traded from Las Vegas, 10/25 Delete Donny Grover, D transferred to the 7-day IR Delete Jimmy Kilpatrick, F placed on the 3-day IR, 10/25
Maybe this will help. |

KRLPhotos is my son and yes, he/I have been to 2 games and watched the other 2 on b2. The 2 games against Wheeling were horrible (can't figure out if we suck that bad or is Wheeling that good - I'm going with Wheeling not being that good) and the 2 games against Dumb**** (oops....Dayton) were almost evenly matched. Last nights game was the better of the 4. We just need to make a few more adjustments and we will be okay. |

This place is sounding like a Bengals message board. Some of you couldn't possibly be fairweather ex-Bengals fans, turned last year Cyclones fans are you? The season just started. Bonehead players and their lack of playing smart hockey won't be around for long. Here's to a few wins soon! |
