Chuck even said himself that if it was his choice he wouldnt wear them... im rambling... a round of applause and my heartiest of thank yous to Susan for hosting our tailgate AND all that fried chicken... While we lost, I was impressed with some of the play (especially when we killed off the 5 on 3 in the third period). Kyle the goalie (didn't know how to spell his last name) looked better than he did earlier this year, finally making some glove saves. Also, we rung 2 off the pipes in the first period. We still need some defense work and need to stay out of the box, especially Matt McDonald.

Also loved how slow the banners went up to the rafters.

What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Trenton wins tonight leaving us in last place. No where to go but up.

The game, although it sucks to lose, as people have been saying there was a good effort.

Juice(I'm calling Kyle that, join if you'd like) played great in goal, he just needed help on those penalty kills. I mean c'mon he stopped a great breakaway, so he's not a bad goalie.

The one thing that I loved was how physical Chico and Mitch Woods were tonight, and Matt MacDonald for that instance. They just need to control it better so that they aren't int he box every 6 minutes.

Matt as star of the game? He looses control, gets penalized out of the game and he
is one of the best from the game-just shows how bad we were!

Not a bad game, other than the score. The defense limited the shots (Very Important) and the penalty kill woke up (especially the 5 on 3s).

As stated before, Matt Mcdonald has to keep his head. When Mitch Woods is on the ice you know he's going to take a penalty. (At least get the other guy to hit you so he goes too! )

Both Latendrese and Beauregard need to PASS THE PUCK. I know they are important cogs in the offense but Dayton keyed on them and we only scored once.

Lastly, was the Syro goal a replay of his goal in Game 6 or what? Point shot from McDonald, tip, rebound, score. It seems to work!

I thought Makway looked really good on the penalty kill.....finally good to see someone get physical with other players right in front of our goal.

everyone forgot to say "WE held them under 5
goals this time" Hell yea that's a win in itself"
Now i can handle losing 3-1 not 9-7.

THE THREE STARS OF THE GAME were NOT the ones that are listed on the website!!!

WTF is up with that?

It was NOT a good game last night better than giving up a BUNCH of goals but GAJEWSKI gave up a couple goals that he had NO CLUE where the puck was at all! He couldn't see through or around his DEFENSE.

The 5-3 penalty kill was nice...and got a nice ovation from the crowd. Being in last place now, this team has no where to go but up ;) It will get better- just maybe not as soon as we would all like

Tough loss last night everyone. I was listening, and it sounded like a pretty good game. Your goal tending seemed to be a little more shored up. Congrats on the banner raising as well.

The player the most impressed me on the ice last night was Micheal Cohen. He is fast and can control and move and shoot the puck very well.
Woods and MacDonald need to stop taking stupid penalties.

The goaltending for both teams was pretty good. Shantz for Dayton is an (ECHL) elite goaltender. Florida (NHL) placed him with Dayton so he would get some playing time. I've seen him with the Everblades and he's pretty good and gives his team a chance to win every night. You have to beat him either up high or out of position. On the ice isn't going to cut it.

Gajewski looked good as well. On two of the three goals he was beat up high where there was about half a square foot to shoot at and Dayton found it. The first goal he was screened pretty well. I was impressed he stopped the break away. All things considered not too bad of a performance; the improvement from the first games is measurable and that's encouraging.

Lastly BIB on defense shows Coach Weber isn't afraid to shake things up. I still stand by my earlier prediction of a +.500 team and playoffs.

Like I told my wife and kid, this isn't last years team- it may take a while to come around. Our goalie shows some improvement. The defense will come around. When that happens, look out.

Exactly! What I can say is this. Whoever picks the 3 stars in Cincy is about the biggest homer I've ever seen.

The game sheet is this...

1. DAY - 16 Dan Riedel
2. CIN - 23 Matt Syroczynski
3. CIN - 4 Matt Macdonald

Cyclones website is this...

1. CIN - 23 Matt Syroczynski
2. CIN - 4 Matt Macdonald
3. CIN - 35 Kyle Gajewski

In all fairness, to give credit where credit is due, it should have read this way...

1. DAY - 16 Dan Riedel (2 goals)
2. DAY - 91 Justin Bowers (game winning goal)
3. DAY - 1 David Shantz (1 GA, .960 SV%) or CIN - 23 Matt Syroczynski (1 goal)
