Probably the best game of the season.

Thomas Beauregard...WOW...4 goals; Gajewski 21 saves on 24 shots; ONE MINOR PENALTY the WHOLE GAME!!! It sounded like we played 60 minutes of solid hockey. A well earned 2 points, Now lets get two at Trenton.

we needed at least 4 points on this road trip. GREAT JOB CLONES!!!!!!!!!! Lets keep on wining and turn the season around. And also Matt McDonald needs to step up and be a leader and play more aggressive.

Great game and congrats to Coach Weber being the #2 star of the game tonight for his 100th win as a head coach. :-)

I didn't see it, but wow. Beauregard is now tied for the most goals in the ECHL (14) and Latindresse is in second with 13 for what it's worth. It's also great that Gajewski got the win and we'll have Houle against Trenton tomorrow, hopefully they can complete the 6 point sweep to make up for that last bad road trip.

Is it me or do they score more goal on the road than they do at home?

Not your imagination, I looked it up:

Home 24 goals/ 8 games = 3.0 goals per game

Away 48 goals/ 10 games = 4.8 goals per game

Add in the fact that Houle in goal is making a world of difference. His numbers are great and he seems to be helping Gajewski by example. If the goaltending can keep it close our offense should be able to win the game on most nights.

great game...not sure where that team came from but i hope the stick around.

now to the nit picking because it's what i/we do:

beauregaurd needs to play better in his own end. he had a 5pt night and was only a +3(-4 on the season), granted 1 goal was on the PP so no +. i know defense is a team effort and he can't cover everyone, but he needs to back check a lot better than he is. latty had 0g 3a (1a on the PP) and was +2 (+1 on the season). latty takes care of his own end much better, if beau would do the same this team can will really get rolling. also as far as beau is concerned, he needs to pass the puck. he has been reminding me of cory urquhart cicra 06-07. he is continually taking shots from bad angles in odd man situations rather than passing or curling back to wait for the trailing forward. these bad angle shots usually wrap around the boards, out of the zone and create an odd man break coming our way. oh, and it's ok to pass to someone other than another french canadian beau....

speaking of the french canadians...can we get some more? i miss them. latty seems to finally be feeling the flow of the games. watching he and beau play together was magical last night.

kyle played his best game of the season last night. he was much more active but he still needs to control his rebounds, especially on the shots that hit him in the glove. i lost track of how many bounced out of it.

i liked paul lynch as a forward. lynch's d play is solid, nothing spectacualr, but not the worst i've seen come through the system. last night chuck dressed 7 d-men and used lynch as the extra forward. he didn't see a lot of ice time but when he did he seemed to be on the puck and near the net. he's a big boy that could prove to be an asset in front of the opposing net.

the defensize zone play is improving but is a little passive for my tastes. it causes us to chase the puck a lot more than we should in our own end. i'm going to be paying close attention today it marty is in net to see if the collapsing d was to help block shots and clear rebounds to take some pressure off kyle. if marty is in net and the guys pressure more, i'll take my hat off to chuck; great coaches alter the game plan based on personnel.

I went to Johnstown back in the final year of the original ECHL days and had a total blast. I think we swept the series and took over 1st place that weekend. We stayed at a Holidome and had a total blast. Of course, one of my friends was hit in the head by a puck in the third period and we had to keep her awake the whole trip home. We were given a whole pizza by the team and a few sticks ect.... but had one heck of a ride back home not knowing if jen had a concussion. She was ok but just a bit freaked out !!!

I hated it at first as well but started to enjoy it (maybe that we kept winning in the playoffs didn't help either).
