Great game last night, and now weve won five in a row... welcome back, champs! Its surprising no ones talking about this game yet... I thought that after another win against the Bummers this place would be buzzing... I'm battling a cold or else I would have been there myself... looking forward to getting my championship ring Saturday

I agree with you cMan. The Clones did play to get revenge on the Bummers for the Home Opener loss. Defense was solid as they have been in the past 4 games and the offense was always looking for a solid shot. All we need to do this weekend is to beat up the Chiefs in regulation and try to obtain the #2 position in our division from both Wheeling and Dayton.

it will happen, heck... and just for the record regarding your tag, we have more wins and fewer losses than the Bungles.... aint that a tragedy?

Good game last night for Cincy. The Bummers looked miserable at best. They were outplayed by far. Passing was a serious issue last night. Shot selection was horrid as well.

*Note* - Off ice officials need to understand that when a puck rings off the iron, it is NOT a shot on goal. They also failed to register Daytons first 3 shots in the 1st. But that's hindsight.

Did anyone think the first 2 periods were a little slow going?

I picked the wrong game to drive to. It was hard to watch that game and be sober. We played like crap.

Well R L,the two teams could have traded uniforms after one and no
one could have told the difference. Both goalies looked good and both
got at least one "pipe" save on their behalf! I'm almost ready to
call Martin "Ping" because every game he has at least one save by
the pipes.Dayton seemed to be more aggressive but two straight
penalties we killed off and even scored on was the shot in the arm
we needed. They got the right star of the game last night-way to go
PING !

ummm - it's impossible for you to be in second place by Monday morning. We play Wheeling twice so even including the Monday game against Johnstown if you win out you can only end up with a max of 29 points. Only one senario at that point would put you in a three waqy tie for second.

If Dayton wins both games Dayton would end with 31 points, Wheeling with 27 That puts you tied with Wheeling for third.

If Wheeling wins both games Dayton has 27 points, Wheeling has 31, tied for third with Dayton.

If we split and don't go to OT we both have 29 points. If Cincinnati wins all three they would then be tied for second.

I don't know about that. Granted Dayton came out on the short end, but it was a typical game between both teams that could go either way. Both goalies looked good and defenses were tight. The breakaway goal Cinci scored on (after missing one before that due to good defense and a nice save) opened things up a little and put Dayton behind the 8 ball.

...And on the eighth day, GOD created the Cyclones!

I agree. I told KFL to post something on the boards to see who has interest. I may as well start one.

meh... I wouldn't buy the dollar beers anyway. PBR and High Life are swamp beer. Now the night that Wheeling had $1.50 Guinness last year? THAT WAS EPIC.

I just felt like we looked uninspired out there. Our passing was not up to snuff with what I've seen this year. We let some VERY stupid breakdowns happen which lead to your breakaways. There was little to no misdirection on our shots. We could have had 3 or 4 goals on Wed, but due to our poor finishing we were lucky we got one.
