I too have to wonder if he really doesn't want to be with the Cyclones. Maybe that's why he isn't playing to the best of his abilities & taking the penalites?
I think MaDonald tried to do way too much on the ice at the beginning of the season. The defense was flat awful and, as often is the case,players try to do more than they should.
MacDonald's play of late has been fine. He's taking some penalties he might be better off avoiding, but I can't think of a Cyclones defensive tandem that is more effective than Martin and MacDonald.
Speaking of which. I wonder if Martin is going to end up in Hamilton again. He was already signed to an AHL deal and was more than likely slated to start the season in Hamilton before he bolted Montreal's camp.
