Date: 12/17/2008
Cincinnati’s Revolving Hockey Door Takes Another Spin
CINCINNATI, Ohio – The Cincinnati Cyclones have received defenseman Frederic St. Denis on loan from the Hamilton Bulldogs (AHL). Cyclones Head Coach Chuck Weber also announced the club has had forward Kyle Rank recalled by the Portland Pirates (AHL). The Cyclones are the ECHL affiliate of the NHL’s Montreal Canadiens and Nashville Predators.
St. Denis, 22, has appeared in four games with Hamilton this season and collected an assist. The five-foot-ten, 190 pounder also has played in ten games with the Cyclones in 2008-09 and picked up six assists. The rookie spent the 2007-08 season at the University of Quebec-Trois Riveres, netting four goals and 14 assists for 18 points in 28 games.
Rank, 25, is in his second season as a pro, having spent 2007-08 between Wheeling (ECHL) and Wilkes Barre (AHL). Kyle collected ten goals and 23 assists for 33 points in 34 games with Wheeling last year and has four goals and twelve assists for 16 points in 23 games with the Cyclones this season. He has already played three games with Portland this season.
Cincinnati (11-11-4) is fourth in the North Division of the American Conference. The Cyclones are at Dayton on Friday night (Dec. 19) for a 7:30pm tilt (carried on MAX-FM 97.7 and 99.5). Saturday (Dec. 20), the Bummers come to U.S. Bank Arena for a 7:30pm clash on ‘Beat Dayton Night’ with fans receiving a complimentary t-shirt from Fox Sports Ohio.
Tickets for all Cyclones games can be purchased at the U.S. Bank Arena box office, all Ticketmaster outlets including select Kroger stores, charge by phone at 513-562-4949 or online at ticketmaster.com. The most up-to-date information and broadcast of the games can be found on our website www.cycloneshockey.com |

| We'll be looking for kids playing roller-blade hockey to fill our roster before long. This is getting ridiculous! |
...And on the eighth day, GOD created the Cyclones! |

Where are Sam Ftorek and Matt Rogers when you need them ? Can Twister shoot ?
This will be the second look Portland has taken at Rank. Maybe he'll stick this time around. (Good for him, crap for us!) |

When will Eghoetz and Houle get called up?
McElroy could go back up as well as Martin. At that point do we just forfeit games?
If MacLeod gets called up to the AHL there needs to be an investigation. |
