| I think it's lame, not because I was for or against Obama, but it is a big letdown as the TBA bobblehead. At a hockey game, I know it may be much to ask, but I prefer the bobblehead to be hockey-related. He better at least be in a Clones jersey. I think it would be pretty cool if it were say, at a Chicago Wolves game, but pretty random here. I was hoping for Weber with the Cup or something of that nature. |

I detest the anti-Western Civilization, marxist Obama with a passion, but it's a great promotion. If sufficiently advertised its got great potential. It is quirky enough such that non-hockey fans could be enticed to come to a game. If you like the guy, it's a cool souvenior. If you don't, it'll be great stick pin obama voodoo doll.

Well, they are advertising the hell out of it. I saw the story, along with a picture of the bobblehead, on the Fox19 morning news today. I also heard at least two mentions of it by Finn and Sister Karen on 96.5 this morning.
They are apparently doing that because it's the first home game after Obama is sworn in as President. And he is wearing a Cyclones jersey and giving the thumbs up! LOL Corny...  |
