I prefer not having melees during the games, but I hope the part time fans get a kick for having 2 fighters on the team.

He only averages a little over one two minute penalty a game...give him a chance before you jump to conclusions.

I'm willing to give him a shot... I have to trust that Chuck brought him in to help get the crap out of the front of the net. We've been complaining about the defense all season. We are 1 game over .500 at this point. With an opportunity to still make the playoffs...even if you aren't to sure about this pick up, you have to be happy that the team is still making moves to try and improve.

I'm not sure if Salekin is THE answer, I believe he's a step in the right direction.

Perhaps Weber is in the process of morphing into Steve Martinson.

Not to be argumentative, but this team is 14-18 (14-13-2-3). Its real winning percentage is .438. The SO/OT points are hockey's equivalent of grade inflation.

The Cyclones have only won a paltry 6 of 16 games at USBA and are 8-8 on the road. Amazingly, before NYEve, the team had won 6 of its previous 7 on the road.
