What's going on?
The goalie with a save percentage below 87% stops 50 out of 53 shots in two consecutive victories. Hell has frozen over.
Seriously, this kid has just looked awful in almost every start. However he has only played around 15 games as a pro and perhaps the 'light went on'. Sometimes it takes players awhile to hit their stride. I hope this is the case here.
Two huge victories this weekend. Had the Clones dropped both-which I fully expected them to do following the NYEve disaster in WHL-the Clones would have realistically put themselves out of the running for anything better than 3rd place in the division.
As it stands now, we're only a point behind 3rd place Dayton. Either we're not as bad as I thought or Dayton isn't very good. One thing to keep in mind is that Dayton didn't travel at all in the 5 weeks prior to this weekend. They had a 5 week homestand that was broken up by a few trips to USBA. Now, they're showing what they're really made of by getting stepped on by lowly Trenton. |

I too have to tip my hat to his job the last two nights. The thing I fear now is with no backup,we risk burning him out with too many games in a row.I say give Lee a start and see what he can do.If we have to have him as a backup, lets not wait to see if he can handle the job. Thanks Kyle for two great games in goal.I'll gladly eat crow if it means you turn into an ECHL level goalie. |

| It would be great if he has turned the corner, but he can be rather streaky. Only time will tell. |

| Perhaps playing Johnstown had something to do with it ... 4 out of his 7 wins have came against the Chiefs this year. Either way, this team has been dominant on the road the past ten games or so and it is definitely a three way competition for third place right now. |

What is the ROSTER RULE for emergency goaltenders? Are they only available for use if the other goalie gets hurt like the NFL's 3rd qb rule.
Great to see Juice holding steady between the pipes. (Wonder if he just doesn't like playing at home- we can be a rough crowd you know)

emergency goalies can only play if the starting goalie is injured...
kyle is showing that he has the stuff to play in this league. early on his performances, while not great, were skewed by the lackluster defense zone play. now that defensive zone play has improved kyle has shown that he can get the job down. the only question mark that remains is whether he can do it consistently. as someone pointed out he can be a bit streaky. |

| They would have to sign Lee to an actual contract or Kyle would have to be injured in order for him to be able to play on emergency status. I'm really glad that Juice stepped up and showed the fans that dog him that he can play good hockey. Hopefully he keeps his head up and continues a winning streak! |
