As my signature states, life is too short to waste precious time arguing about minor league hockey. This will be my last post on this and other local hockey message boards.
I have been a hockey fan for 37 years, and hockey will continue to be a sport I will enjoy watching and following, primarily at the National Hockey League level. I wish the Cincinnati Cyclones nothing but success in the future and hope that one day all the area hockey fans will forget the past and begin working together as one.

Too bad the Cyclones couldn't take advantage of Donnie's knowledge and experience. The man worked in hockey for what, 20 years or so? At least 17 (1990-2007) continuously, and then when he gets out of the biz, just wants to be Joe Fan, still treated like "the enemy" by Cyclones fans. Nothing to lose & everything to gain by embracing him into the Cyclones "family", but old grudges are apparently more important to some people than free help for their financially struggling team.
People who really are Joe Fan think they know more than a guy with 17+ years of working hockey experience, and not only alienate him, but also his friends, family, and acquaintances. No wonder the majority of Cyclones games only average about 1800 people. Sad. |

What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
