Or you could just smuggle your own in. Or leave it in the car, and sneak out in between periods. Of course that would only be worth it if you parked on the top level or two of the garage.

But seriously, it's sad that consideration has to be given to idiots who want to throw stuff before deciding to sell sodas in cans. The Reds and Bengals sell beer and soda in plastic bottles, why can't the Cyclones?

I think that having dollar soda & dogs is a great idea, but only if they promote it to NON- HOCKEY FANS TOO. Seeing ads during the Jackets games just doesn't cut it. They should hit channel 9 during the Zone (on sat nights) as well as SNL or right after it. (which I know is expensive) They could also advertise on "sportsrock" or other shows, which they are on occasionally.

Advertising has not been good, but I give them an A this weekend. I normally never see the ads when apparently everyone else does and we get big crowds (maybe because I never pay attention to the local media), but they pulled in some crowds which looked like 5K to me with advertising the car night and dollar dogs. Sure, there were big group outings, but the walk-up windows were lined up pretty good both nights.

They do sell soda in plastic bottles. You can either the soda that way or out of the fountain.

I sneak 2 Mt. Dews in every game, but I'm just plain CRAZY anyway. I'd be more inclined to buy a dew for $1.

I sneak drinks in every now and then. I mean you just slip it under your jersey in like a hoodie/coat pocket.
