After Friday's dismal performance, the Cyclones have notched two straight wins.
I don't know who I'll call a hopeless sack of garbage next.
MacLeod scores two the day after I hammer him. Zero (oops, Scero) scores 2 today and Ben Gordon adds one against WHL.
The team seems to have been reborn. The difference between Friday and Saturday night was immense. And it was carried over into today.
These were two very big wins for a team that I thought was literally on the ropes concerning any possible playoff appearance.

Yes, hats off to us, Dayton and Cincinnati, for knocking Wheeling down a peg or two. It was getting the Wheeling fans a bit surly while we were there on Sunday though.
Multiple comments about how they have 4 of their best guys called up right now. Wah... Join the freaking club.
And one comment about how they aren't impressed with Nie and he didn't do well last year in Johnstown. We were like, yeah, well he couldn't have been that bad because I don't remember playing Wheeling in the playoffs...
So, good for us and Dayton rattling their chains a little bit. LOL  |
